With Jocks & Whips, Rihanna Introduces 'Savage x Fenty' Collection for Pride

It was little more than a year ago EDGE reported that Lady Gaga had "added special undergarments�to her merchandise store�on her website, where "Chromatica"-themed hot pink�jockstraps�and�thongs could be purchased.
Not to be outdone, and just in time for Pride, Rihanna's "Savage x Fenty has released its stunning collection for Pride 2021 – and it includes jockstraps and whips," reports Pink News.

It's "all about appreciating your authentic self," the pop star said in a statement about the collection. "I am very excited about this collection and showing love and support to the LGBTQIA+ community, which includes so many of our customers, team members and fans."
The collection from the inclusive lingerie brand features jockstraps, rainbow-embroidered bralettes and suspenders, crop tops, shorts, and even a rainbow kitty whip. In addition, Pink News writes, the line includes cotton essentials, from trunks to thongs and boxer briefs to boxer shorts, all with the Fenty logo in a rainbow design. And for the plush life, there are smoking jackets and matching satin boxers or trousers in green or orange.
For the campaign, the brand has enlisted some familiar LGBT+ faces, including�"Drag Race"�Season 12 star Gigi Goode, models Dexter Mayfield, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, and Jaslene Whiterose, and hairstylist Yusef Williams.
