Watch: Tina Fey Hilariously Advises Bowen Yang on Giving Opinions

Everyone can learn a thing or two from Tina Fey, the "Saturday Night Live" alum and mastermind behind the ever-growing popularity of "Mean Girls."
Appearing on Las Culturistas with co-hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, Fey decided to give them a little cold, hard advice about their careers and burgeoning celebrity status in Hollywood. And as part of a segment on the podcast called "I Don't Think So, Honey," Fey went completely in with a 60-second hilarious rant.
"Authenticity is dangerous and expensive," she said, explaining that Rogers and Yang should watch out when it comes to giving their honest opinions about projects helmed by people they could eventually end up working with.
Specifically, Fey got on fellow "SNL" Yang about how his opinions could affect his upcoming role in "Wicked."
"I don't think so, honey, Bowen Yang giving his real opinions about movies on this podcast. I regret to inform you that you're too famous now, sir," Fey warned. "You have a problem with Saltburn? Shhh. Quiet luxury. Keep it to yourself. Because what are you going to do when Emerald Fennell calls you about her next project, where you play Carey Mulligan's co-worker in the bridal section of Harrods and then Act Three takes a sexually violent turn and you have to pretend to be surprised by that turn? You hang out with Ariana and SpongeBob now, that is your life."
One social media commentator wrote, "Raise your hand if you love Tina Fey ❤️"
And then New Yorker writer Emily Nussbaum said what everyone was thinking, "There should be a special stealth podcast where you pay up, sign an NDA & then get to hear Tina Fey's secret bitchy opinions of all culture."
In true Fey form, Fey's rant was a cleverly surreal blend of celebrity and the reality of trying to make it in Hollywood colliding. Fey also took the moment to reference how Ayo Edebiri recently ended up hosting "SNL" with musical guest J.Lo after bad-mouthing her singing abilities on a podcast and calling her career a "scam." It made for an awkward encounter that Ayo apologized for in a skit.
"Learn from my mistakes. Learn from Ayo. Podcasts are forever," Fey said.
Upon hearing about Fey's comments, Edebri echoed those sentiments. "LEARN FROM ME," she commented on a video of the exchange.
