Comb Through these Thirst Traps of Out Celebrity Hairstylist Chris Appleton

Chris Appleton's claim to fame is as one of Hollywood's most sought-after hairstylists, although he recently showed up in the trades for dating, then splitting with, actor Lukas Gage who appears in the recent "Road House" reboot.
The 40-year-old Appleton stands at a daddyfying 6' 3", has green eyes, and treats his body like a well-stacked temple made of muscles and smooth chestnut skin.
Although that might seem hyperbolic, it tracks. Appleton's appearance is also a business card, because he is not only a hairdresser, but also an influencer, model, and stylist to the stars.
Some of his clients include Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, and Jennifer Lopez.
Originally from Leicester, England, Appleton started styling hair at age nine with his mother playing the perpetual client. He's said that every time he did her hair her demeanor changed. She seemed elated, more confident. That's what he wanted to do for other people, too. Thus, a career path was born, and he's been doing it ever since.
However, Appleton also has a different following: Those who admire his stunning good looks. With over four million followers on Instagram, some are there for celebrity selfies while others are there for thirst traps.
We've gathered some of both, but you can tell which ones we favor most.
This shot of Chris is courtesy of Bustle, a publication geared toward women (their verbiage, not ours). But it's one of the best, showcasing his stunning good looks. This pose is the very definition of "thought and thew." Additionally, you can't go wrong editorially with a white tank top and a pensive gaze.
Where the previous picture focused on Chris' upper body, this one gives us a little more real estate to ogle at. Sporting silver locks and gold necklaces, Chris is in his element showing off a flawless musculature system. Speaking of gray hair, it was a thing a few years ago when this picture was taken, and remains a fashionable trend today. Some say it is a result of the pandemic when no one could get touch-ups, so they let it grow out. Now it's called "Granny Gray," but Chris evokes a better title with this look: Daddy Gray.
Finding his Zen in the soothing waters of Turks and Caicos last year, Chris celebrates his 40th birthday. This tropical archipelago has numerous islands, and has become a popular tourist destination over the years. Chris is still looking great after four decades, which means there is truth to the phrase "40 is the new 30."
Another beach pic but this one comes with a platitude, "When life gives you lemons, bust out the tequila and salt." Which reminds us of the NSFW TikTok song "One Margarita" and what Chris would be allowed to do by the fourth blended cocktail. We can't say it here, but rest assured, it ends with a bottoms up!
At the Ayada Maldives Resort Chris is getting some sun. It's New Year's Eve 2023 and he's getting some playtime in before the big party. It was a tough year for the hair guru who, just a month earlier, split with his husband, Lukas Gage. They cited irreconcilable differences after six months. Not an easy time for sure. Hopefully, Chris' time in the South Asian islands helped him heal.
Chris' orange sweater really brings out his eyes in this photo. That might be partly due to the throw of color from his sweater, or one of his signature beauty hacks: Eye drops. In 2020 he revealed he uses Lumify Redness Reliever Eye Drops. "Before quarantine, I was using this all the time for shoots, and it's a secret little recipe," he told WhoWhatWear. "For anyone who wants brighter eyes, just one drop of this stuff in each eye is magic."
Erewhon Market is a trendy store and smoothie shop that carries a hefty price tag. A 20 oz. blended drink is going to set you back upwards of $19. One of their signature prepared food plates is $29 a pound. It must take a lot of protein to keep Chris in shape, and the way he is drinking the smoothie in this shot makes for the ultimate "thirst trap."
It's not really a party until someone ends up in the pool. Chris looks like a contestant in a wet T-shirt contest. His translucent tux is so sheer and tight that he might as well be skinny dipping. This whole wet look is working, but who is going to tell him he can't go into the house with wet pants?
We aren't ones to go against the rules, especially the ones for "Fight Club," but we kind of have to bypass the first one to talk about Chris' Tyler Durden cosplay from Halloween 2022. The third rule is, "If somebody says stop, or goes limp, taps out, the fight is over." Can't imagine any of those three things happening while tussling with Chris while he's wearing that costume.
Boy bands were big in the '90s, which looks like the inspiration for this set of photos. From the frosted tips to the oversized pants, Chris is in sync with his Backstreet vibe, as if to tell the world, "Take that!"
