Jonathan Bailey Reveals Photo Exists of Him Wearing Nothing but His 'Wicked' Boots

Though he vowed it will never see the light of day, Jonathan Bailey sparked imaginations when he disclosed that there's a photo of him wearing nothing at all except the boots for his "Wicked" role.

The "Bridgerton" star features in the upcoming film as Fiyero, a prince who attends the same school as Glinda (Ariana Grande) and Elphaba (Cyntia Erivo). The female frenemies are destined to grow up to be known as Glinda the Good Witch and The Wicked Witch of the West, respectively, but, while still at school, both enchantresses fall under the handsome prince's spell.

"So my first in-person meeting, knowing that I was going to play Fiyero, was with the guy that made my 'Dancing Through Life' boots," Entertainment Weekly quoted the "Fellow Travelers" star as saying in a video that went up to the movie's social media. The boots in question are seen during a musical number that, in the Broadway musical the film is based on, takes place during Act One to the strains of the Stephen Schwartz-written song "Dancing Through Life."

"I think I flew over on a Tuesday," EW quoted Bailey further, "and then I was filming 'Bridgerton' on the Wednesday to Saturday, and, as I got there, nothing arrived. So all I had was my Fiyero boots."

Which meant, naturally that...

"There's an amazing photo that no one's ever gonna see of me in nothing but my boots," EW quoted Bailey as saying, "which sort of felt right for Fiyero somehow."

Fans would hardly disagree!

"In addition to Grande and Erivo, the film also stars 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Bowen Yang, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, and the always quirky Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard," EW notes. The movie arrives next month.
