Trader Says Sexual Harassment at Work Included Female Hormones

A junior trader with SAC Capital Management claims to be the victim of sexual assault, though with a hi-tech twist.
Andrew Tong says that his boss at SAC-a major hedge fund company-forced him to take estrogen, a female hormone, in order to feminize him, according to an article posted online by The New York Post yesterday.
According to Tong's lawsuit, filed with the Manhattan Supreme Court, a sernior trader and Tong's boss, Ping Jiang, forced Tong to take estrogen and wear female attire in the office; the aim was allegedly to boost Tong's success as a trader.
Gerry Filippatos, lawyer for Tong, says that Tong has "scientific evidence" that back up his claims and "corroborate the traumatic events that form the basis of his claims," including medical reports.
Fillippatos added that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is looking into the situation, which Tong's claim says includes discrimination and harassment, as well as retaliation.
Jonathan Gastelder, a spokesperson for SAC, called Tong's complaints "false" and "scurrilous."
