Yum! Marriage equality in Vermont gets a tasty twist

New England ice cream mogul Ben & Jerry's has revealed that their popular "Chubby Hubby" ice cream will be re-named "Hubby Hubby" for the month of September in honor of marriage for same-sex couples in the state.
The company is celebrating "the beginning of the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian couples in Vermont," a statement from the Ben & Jerry's read September 1.
"In partnership with Freedom to Marry, Ben & Jerry's aims to raise awareness of the importance of marriage equality and, to show its support, will serve 'Hubby Hubby' sundaes in Vermont Scoop Shops throughout the month of September."
The state of Vermont began performing legal matrimonies for same-sex couples September 1.
