Gay Men Will All Need Diapers, Says Nigerian Columnist

Nigerian columnist Benedict Hart publicly voiced his support for the country's new anti-gay law, saying that too much gay sex will have gay men wearing diapers. And not just the kinky ones, either.

According to Gay Star News, Hart claims that the "grave spiritual dangers" of being gay also come with "fatal health hazards."

In an article in the Nigerian Vanguard daily news, Hart says that "many homosexual men have to wear diaper-like products" because their gay sex stretches out the works so much.

"Medical experts have confirmed that anal intercourse which homosexuals practise tends to stretch and greatly weaken the anal sphincter muscles, leading to serious digestive problems, constipation, irregularity (of bowel movements), and ultimately to cancer of the rectum," writes Hart in the article.

He also claims that gay people recruit youth into "these foolish habits" but adds (perhaps not as a compliment) that gays are "often gifted in the arts and so attract people to themselves. They are often given to moods."

Given to moods? Outrageous! I've never been so insulted!

The columnist uses this rationale to justify Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan's recent passage of the law that bans gay marriage, same-sex relationships and membership to gay rights groups, and imposes up to 14 years in jail for gay relationships.

"Beyond even prohibiting same-sex marriage, this law dangerously restricts freedom of assembly and expression for all Nigerians," said US Secretary of State John Kerry in Gay Star News.

It makes one wonder if science or medicine even exists in Nigeria.
