Nigeria Says 'Gay Cross-Dresser' Led Bombing Attack That Kills 80

In a situation that leaves way too many loose ends untied, Nigeria's State Security Service has arrested a "clearly homosexual cross-dresser" as the suspected mastermind behind the attempted suicide bombing attack on former dictator Major General Muhammadu Buhari.

Gay Star News reports security apprehended the suspect near the site of the bombing -- a market in Kaduna in which 80 were killed and three of Buhari's aides were injured.

The suicide bomber rammed his Toyota Sienna into Buhari's car on June 23, setting off an explosion that killed many bystanders, but somehow left him unscathed.

The general's bulletproof vehicle protected him from an attack that the authorities say the suspect confessed was organized by former militia leader and Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force leader Mujahid Dokubo-Asari.

But Asari said that Buhari engineered the attack himself, to gain sympathy in a bid to regain power. The main opposition All Progress Congress coalition is also skeptical about the security forces' story.

"Could the person who drove the vehicle that was rammed into the General's convoy have survived the explosion that was triggered by that action?," asked the All Progress Congress in a statement. "Could the innocent passers-by who died in the blast not have been arrested and paraded as the 'suspected masterminds' if they had survived the blast? Clearly, the arrest of the pervert [sic] and his sickening description as a 'suspected mastermind' have kick-started the process of muddling the waters, as is usually the case with such high-profile cases.

"This is why an urgent international inquiry into the attack is desirable and imperative, and anyone who is committed to an impartial probe of the attack on the opposition leader should embrace our call."

Despite their homophobic comments, Osun Defender makes a solid point when they report that the "clearly homosexual man dressed as a woman" that security beat the "'gajeezeez' out of" likely had no connection to the Buhari bombing, as the suicide bomber was "definitely blown to bits when the car exploded killing dozens in the vicinity; was not gay and was not successfully caught by our barely existent security men."

"The Nigerian security men simply picked up a cross-dresser queer individual and claimed this was the suspect and later that he was even the mastermind, to pretend some efficiency and wash-away the case," they report.
