NYPD Sergeant Suspended After Being Accused of Throwing Semen at Coworker

No, this is not a deleted scene from "The Silence of the Lambs."

A New York Police Department sergeant was suspended on June 17 after allegedly throwing semen at a female coworker in January, according to police Tuesday.

The New York Daily News identifies the sergeant as Michael Iscenko, 54, who threw the man juice at the unidentified woman inside the police headquarters in New York City in January as she walked back to her office from the bathroom, a report says. The women worked with Iscenko in the Organized Crime Control Bureau and reported the incident immediately after it happened, police sources told the newspaper.

A police source also said the substance thrown on the woman was tested and it was confirmed to be semen. It has not been confirmed if the semen came from Iscenko, however.

According to the Gothamist, the semen splattered on the woman's leg and her shoe. The site notes it is unknown how Iscenko allegedly threw the substance.

The sergeant previously told the woman he liked her, the New York Daily News writes.

"He was apparently so enamored by her that he threw semen on her," the police source told the newspaper.

The Gothamist reports there is security camera footage of the incident, which allegedly shows Iscenko in uniform crouching down behind the woman. After allegedly throwing the substance, the sergeant is seen walking away.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
