Dyke Night's Cheers for Queers at Milky Way, Plus Valentine's Party

On January 22, the ladies behind Boston's Dyke Night parties present Cheers for Queers at Milky Way, and on February 13, they hold a Speed Dating event.

"Come for the designer pizza, the vegan entr�e, the cosmic cocktails or just for the hugs at Kristen Porter Present's the 'Cheers for Queers,' for the whole LGBT community," write organizers.

The event features guest DJ JODI, known for her wildly popular Ogunquit Maine women's tea dances. Her musical style is simply to keep her crowd happy so you'll hear a mix of top 40 and hip-hop, peppered with retro, rock, Latin and old school.

"It's Katz' last night -- you've swooned over her dancing at Second Saturday, she's welcomed you every Fourth Friday at the door. Come by with a good-bye hug as she heads off for military service," writes Porter.

Attendees who RSVP on Facebook will be entered to win a free pair of passes to the party.
