Tickets to the 9th Pink Lake Festival on Lake Woerthersee Available Starting May 2

The beautiful Southern province of Austria once again offers a lot to the International GLBT community at the 9th Pink Lake Festival, Aug. 25-28.

Pink Lake guests can look forward to new events and locations, alongside beloved traditional events. The Pink Lake Beach Club will again be held in the beautiful Sol Beach Club at Park's Hotel in Velden. With its (almost) real sand beach and outstanding food and drink menu, this location offers the perfect atmosphere to relax, swim in the pristine alpine lake and soak up the golden late summer sun.

The rowdy and raucous Almdudler traditional folk costume party is back with great entertainment, dancing and music in the center of Velden. The Pink Lake Dance and Roller Disco will be held in the roofed, open-air ice rink in Velden, featuring DJ James Munich creating the perfect disco-style atmosphere for guests to dance and skate the night away.

Of course, the much loved Boat Cruise Party on the middle of Lake Woerthersee can't be missed. Because the Boat Cruise Party is such a popular highlight of the festival, three ships will sail this year.

Once again Pink Lake's partner companies have prepared attractive packages for festival participants. For the first time the the internationally famous Schloss am W�rthersee ("Castle on Lake W�rthersee") is offering a special Pink Lake package.

The new "Rocket Room," which opened on June 1 in the center of Velden, is also participating. Of course, long-term, established partner hotels like Hotel Park's, the Flair Hotel on Lake Woerthersee, the Ogris am See, the Hotel Goritschnigg, the Hotel Post and the Hotel Carinthia are back with great offers as well.
