Black AIDS Institute Launches New Website, Sponsors Events Nationwide for WAD

To commemorate World AIDS Day, the Black AIDS Institute is sponsoring several events across the country and launching a new website aimed at awareness, education, capacity building, mobilizing advocacy, and improving healthcare access.

The mobile-optimized site reflects the true depth of the Institute's diverse programming. It enables viewers to read the latest HIV related news, join the National Black Healthcare Access Tour, get help signing up for the Affordable Care Act through the 2017 Open Enrollment period, and register for community-sourced events across the nation and more.

"With all that has been going on in our country over the last year, getting involved in World AIDS Day is probably more important now than ever before," says Phill Wilson, President and CEO of the Black AIDS Institute. "The Institute is partnering with community-based organizations, health departments, corporations, and celebrities to create a national network of activities to mobilize our communities."
