What Are Our Favorite LGBTQ Travel Influencers Up To?
Matthew Wexler READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Borders closed. Lockdowns. Riots. This year is shaping up to look a lot like 2020. But if ever we needed a rainbow at the end of the tunnel, look no further than our favorite queer travel influencers. Some are navigating travel restrictions to hit the road, while others have stayed in their own backyards. (Just like Dorothy!)
Here's a peek at what some of our favorite LGBTQ travel influencers have been up to – no passport required.
Gabbi and Shanna of 27 Travels headed to Curaao for the holidays (when they're not having pillow fights in their New York City apartment).
Madrid-based Two Bad Tourists traveled to Galicia in northwest Spain. Their ideal location has made local exploration feasible, but these two bad boys are always good when it comes to wearing masks.
Troy Petenbrink (The Gay Traveler) took a short trip from his hometown of Washington D.C. to check out the new light display on the USS Wisconsin in Norfolk, Virginia.
We're always curious what Ravi Round the World is up to – making mini snowmen in Central Park, apparently!
Julian Hernandez-Marks has been keeping a low profile from his 154,000 Instagram fans at ijulian_. We'd like to imagine he's lost in an orange grove wearing nothing but overalls.
Black lesbian ex-pats Kat and Amber (Wandering Soup) recently relocated to Merida, Mexico. They're documenting their journey through their YouTube channel.
Canadian Ryan Thomas (ryanthomaswoods) has explored more than 40 countries and counting. His latest post was with his European boyfriend at an undisclosed outdoor spa. We're also not sure what's under those robes, but we can dream, right?
Meg Ten Eyck loves luxury and has partnered with bucket list travel brand Belmond as a board member representing the LGBTQ community. She headed to El Encanto in Santa Barbara to take in the gorgeous coastal views. Or did she stay in bed all day? We won't tell.
Wine and wanderlust lovers Bryan and Chris stayed close to their San Diego home to visit Carlsbad. They're expecting a little one in 2021, so we hope to see the threesome hit the road in years to come.
