Not long after HBO Max announced "Sex and the City" will return as "And Just Like That" sometime this year, it's being reported that Caitlyn Jenner could appear on the show, according to the U.K. newspaper the Mirror.
The reboot will find Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis reprising their iconic characters from the HBO comedy. But Kim Cattrall won't be joining the series and Parker has said they won't recast the infamous Samantha Jones. Nevertheless, it's being reported that Jenner, a vocal Republican, might pop up on the show, which is reportedly aiming to be very inclusive.
Sources told the Mirror the trans activist is at the top of the list to appear in the anticipated comedy.
"Bosses are thought to want to make it as diverse as possible after the old series and films were criticized for not being inclusive," the outlet writes.
A source adds: "Caitlyn has been a media fixture in one way or another for going on 50 years. She's really perfect for an appearance. They want new faces for the show, but they want people viewers actually know and care about too."
