Ted Cruz's Wife 'Pissed' About Leaked Cancun Messages

Uh-oh. Ted Cruz's wife Heidi is "pretty pissed" that her Mexico vacation messages have been made public, according to People.
The GOP Senator, who recently found himself in hot water after leaving his fellow Texans to suffer in the cold, recently appeared on an episode of political podcast "Ruthless" where he called the leakers "a-------" and said "like, just, you know, treat each other as human beings have some degree, some modicum of respect."
Like, say, the respect Senator Cruz has shown the LGBTQ community, calling the 2015 SCOTUS ruling for marriage equality "the very definition of tyranny"? Or the respect he showed the American voting public and his colleagues in Washington DC by perpetuating Trump falsehoods about election fraud that resulted in a violent insurrection at the Capitol on January 6?
Heidi Cruz's messages to a private neighborhood chat indicated that her family would be going to Cancun, Mexico because of the "FREEZING" temperatures in Texas, a problem that has resulted in heat and power outages. Conditions in Texas have led to somewhere around 70 deaths, including some who died in their own homes because of losing heat.
Swift backlash brought Senator Cruz back to the U.S.. Prior to his return, Cruz issued a statement that appeared to saddle his daughters with the blame for the family vacation – with a modicum of respect, of course: "With school canceled for the week, our girls asked to take a trip with friends. Wanting to be a good dad, I flew down with them last night and am flying back this afternoon."
