Dominic Fike Dating 'Euphoria' Costar Hunter Schafer

"Euphoria" star Dominic Fike has opened up about dating co-star Hunter Schafer. "The 26-year-old musician-turned-actor shared that he was 'very much in love' with the 23-year-old transgender actress," reported UK newspaper the Daily Mail.
Fike confirmed the romance in an interview with GQ Magazine. Talking about it, the young actor credited intense emotional scenes the pair appeared in together, saying that the work "accelerated" their romance "because you're so vulnerable with someone, immediately. Which usually takes a long time."
"Some people fall in love, like, fucking months after they meet, or years after," Fike continued, whereas their "attraction" needed nowhere near that long, thanks to the show, which "sped it up so fast. We just really got to know each other so quickly."
The relationship is rooted so deeply in the show that even their characters are romantically involved: "During the second season, his character Elliot became part of a love triangle involving Hunter's character Jules Vaughn and series lead Rue Bennett (Zendaya)," the Daily Mail recalled.
The timing of the interview's publication fell months after Fike and Hunter first sparked the rumor mill when they were spotted holding hands at a West Hollywood eatery last January, BuzzFeed News said...but only days after Fike "was seen out in Los Angeles with a brunette friend amid rumors that he and Hunter had split," the Daily Mail shared.
Whatever the current status of the couple, their real-life relationship, while complicated by work schedules that keep them apart much of the time, is, or at least has been, deep and heartfelt: "The Florida native recalled how he once visited the Prada store in Soho eight times over four days, not just to shop for clothes but also to see his love's face on the luxury label's ads in the store windows," the Daily Mail relayed.
