Andy Cohen Puts His West Village Apartment on the Market for a Cool $14 Mil - And Gay Twitter Weighs In

Out talk show host and "Real Housewives" producer Andy Cohen created a unique living space from four separate apartments. Now he's selling up for a stunning $14 million.
Gay Twitter is tweeting over the realtor's pics, and not everyone is convinced that the sprawling space is worth the price tag.
Cohen's project of fashioning the eye-popping home, which comprises 3.500 square feet, started when he "purchased a $1.4 million unit on the lower level in 2003," Page Six recalled, "and after getting to know his neighbors in the pre-war building, he eventually snatched up four other units and worked with architect Gordon Kahn to merge them into one expansive home."
Added Page Six: "With the help of interior designer Eric Hughes, Cohen spent nearly two decades meticulously conceptualizing the residence into a masterpiece."
"After spending two decades painstakingly building his dream home, Mr. Cohen hesitated about leaving," The New York Times detailed of the Bravo star's decision. "But no matter how many units he purchased and combined, there was one thing that eluded him – outdoor space."
To market his longtime home, Cohen turned to fellow reality TV star and realtor Ryan Serhant, who told the Times, "The first time I ever walked into Andy's apartment, I said, 'Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it's a one of one.'"
"Mr. Cohen and Mr. Serhant became friends more than a decade ago, when Mr. Serhant made his reality TV debut in 2012 on 'Million Dollar Listing,' a program on Bravo, where Mr. Cohen has long served as a host and executive producer," the Times went on to add.
"Our relationship changed a few years ago when we both became dads," Cohen told the newspaper.
"During one of their play dates in the early months of the pandemic, Mr. Cohen asked Mr. Serhant how he would price the apartment if he were to sell," the Times detailed. "Mr. Serhant had been hoping for such a question."
Said the celebrity realtor: "You wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell."
Added Serhant: "It's like moving into a magazine."
For the Twitterati, a more apt comparison might be a social media post replete with plenty of photos of the apartment's sumptuous spaces. But not everyone is a fan; the online responses to the images of the apartment are somewhat mixed.
