Duggar Daughter Ain't Judgin', But Y'all Are Goin' to Hell
EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jinger (yes with a "J"); the list goes on. The Duggar family of TLC's '19 Kids and Counting" named their litter of progeny with names beginning with the letter "j" which also happens to stand for "judgmental."
Proving that the apple doesn't fall far from the "I'm better than you" tree, Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar) took to her Facebook page this week to sermonize to her 179,00 plus followers. In a 934 word diatribe against anyone with an interpretation of the Bible that differs from hers, the recently married 22 year-old warned followers that while she may not be judging, God is - and they'll probably all end up in hell.
"One of the most quoted verses from the Bible is Matthew 7:1 'Judge not!' Whenever someone speaks out against something that God calls sin, 'Don't judge!' can be heard coming from a thousand lips." Jessa said. "People don't like to have other people disapprove of the way they're choosing to live their life."
"I will speak to you a hard truth. I do not write this because I think that it will bring me popularity. It won't. But it is Truth from the Word of God: the Bible [...]Unless you're reading some very distorted 'translation' of the Bible, you cannot get around the fact that there is a hell" Jessawarned followers. "To not tell people this is to hide the truth from them. To keep silent is to not care for their eternal destiny! I care about you, and this is why I am speaking out!"
Thanks, Jessa.
Jessa is the fifth of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children.
In November, after a celibate courtship that lasted over a year, she married Ben Seewald, a 19 year-old college sophomore who drew fire in 2014 after he took to his Facebook page to slam Catholics for their "deadly errors."
"I DO have a problem with the teaching that man can come to God through Mary or any other person besides Jesus . . ." Seawald wrote of Catholics. "I DO have a problem with the deification of Mary as a sinless being. Mary herself admitted her need for a Savior. If she had no sin, she would need no Savior."
Jessa and Ben's was a match made is douchebag heaven.
